INDIA BEAT BANGLADESH BY 50 RUNS

 


India won against Bangladesh and entered into the Semi-final in the on-going t20 world cup which is played between India and Bangladesh at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.

Bangladesh cannot chase the target of 197 runs given by India. They can only managed to score 146 runs by losing 8 wickets in 20 overs. Due to the poor performance from middle order, Bangladesh can't chase this target and almost out of the tournament also. For Bangladesh, Opener Liton Das and Tanzid Hasan scored 13 runs in 10 balls and 29 runs in 31 balls respectively. Hasan scored 4 boundaries. Afterthat, Captain Najmul Hossain Shanto played very well innings where he scored 40 runs in 32 balls including one boundary and 3 sixes. Allrounder Shakib Al Hasan departs after scoring 11 runs in 7 balls. While, Mahmudullah and Rishad Hossain scored 13 runs in 15 balls and 24 runs in 10 balls respectively. Rishad scored one boundary and three sixes. Other batsman couldn't add runs in double digits.

Indian bowlers give pressure to the Bangladeshi batsman from the beginning. Kuldeep Yadav take the highest wicket for India as he take three crucial wickets by conceding only 19 runs in 4 overs. Similarly, Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya take two wickets, two wickets, and one wicket respectively.

In the first innings, India give a respectable fighting total against Bangladesh. For India, Captain Rohit Sharma goes after scoring 23 runs in 11 balls including 3 boundaries and 1 six. While, Virat Kohli scored 37 runs in 28 balls including one boundary and 3 sixes. Middle order Rishabh Pant contribute some runs for team by scoring 36 runs in 24 deliveries including four boundaries and two sixes. Shivam Dube scored 34 runs in 24 balls which include three sixes. Similarly, Hardik Pandya played destructive innings in the death overs and helped team to give a decent target. He scored 50 runs in 27 balls including 4 boundaries and 3 sixes. 

Bangladesh bowlers cannot restrict India at low total even India lost both openers at short period of time. Bangladeshi bowlers Tanzim Hasan Sakib and Rishad Hossain both take equal two wickets for each. While, Shakib Al Hasan pick one wicket by taking wicket of Indian Skipper Rohit Sharma. Other bowlers cannot perform well as a result they become wicket less.

Hardik Pandya become Player of the Match(POM) due to his outstanding batting performance after coming in middle order and played a really destructive batting. He scored not out 50 runs in just 27 deliveries which include 4 boundaries and 3 sixes.
