Pakistan defeat Ireland by 3 wickets

                   


Pakistan beat Ireland in their last game even they can't qualify for Super 8 in the on-going t20 world cup which is played between Pakistan and Ireland at Central Broward Regional Park.

Pakistan chased the target of 107 runs given by Ireland in the 18.5 overs by losing 7 wickets and win their last game of this world cup. For Pakistan batting, Opener Mohammad Rizwan and Saim Ayub scored equal 17 runs while Rizawn hit 2 boundaries and Aim hit 2 boundareis and one six. Captain Babar Azam scored 32 runs in 34 balls including 2 boundaries. Unfortunately, middle order cannot made partnership but lower order played some good cricket which helped them to win this game. Abbas Afridi and Shaheen Afridi scored 17 runs in 21 balls and 13 runs in 5 balls which helped to win this game.

For Ireland bowling, Barry McCarthy takes highest wicket for Ireland as he take three wickets by conceding only 15 runs in 4 overs. While, Mark Adair, Benjamin White and Curtis Campher take one wicket, one wicket and two wickets respectively.

In the first innings, Ireland seems pressure against Pakistan bowlers. After early dismissal of both opener Andrew Balbirnie and Captain Paul Stirling as they both scored just 0 and 1 runs respectively. Gareth Delany scored highest runs for Ireland as he scored 31 runs in 19 balls including one boundary and three sixes. While, George Dockrell, Mark Adair and Joshua Little scored 11 runs, 15 runs and 22 runs respectively. 

 Pakistan bowlers performed as they can successfully restrict Ireland in just 106 runs. For Pakistan bowling, Shaheen Afridi and Imad Wasim takes equal three wickets for Pakistan by conceding 22 runs and just 8 runs in 4 overs respectively. While, Mohammad Amir and Haris Rauf take two wickets and one wicket respectively.

Shaheen Afridi became Player of the Match(POM) due to his overall batting and bowling performance which helped team to win the game. He takes three crucial wickets with balls and scored 13 runs in 5 balls.
