The Indian Premier League (IPL) match between Gujarat Titans and Kolkata Knight Riders has been canceled without even a single ball being bowled. Due to continuous rain, the match was canceled after the toss and the match could not be started.
Gujarat and Kolkata shared 1-1 points due to cancellation of the match. After this result, Gujarat is out of the competition. After being in the top four of Gujarat, there was no possibility of reaching the playoffs.
Gujarat has 11 points in 13 matches. On the other hand, Kolkata is sure to reach the playoffs by being in the top two. Kolkata, with 19 points in 13 matches, will be in the top two and compete for entry to the final in the first qualifier.
Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants will face each other in the IPL match on Tuesday. Delhi has 12 points in 13 matches while Lucknow has 12 points in 12 matches. Both teams still have playoff chances.
