Virat Kohli announced his retirement from t20i games

 


Virat performed the player of the match while winning India the T20 World Cup title for the second time.

Kohli, who did not make it to the semi-finals, scored 76 runs off 59 balls with 6 fours and 2 sixes in the final.
India won the T20 title after 17 years and the ICC title after 13 years. In 2007, he won the T20 World Cup and the last time in 2011, he won the One-Day World Cup. This is the first T20 World Cup title for Virat, who was a member of the team that won the ODI World Cup.

Virat, who played in the T20 World Cup for the sixth time, said after becoming a player, 'It is the right time to retire. Now the new generation has to take it forward. This is my last T20 World Cup.
